I just cleaned mine last night using the k&n cleaning kit, used the cleaning spray 1st then put it in a bucket of water with some oxi-clean then used the cleaning spray again just to make sure it was really clean (Also let it sit for a bit between cleaning methods) Let it dry over night. In the morning sprayed the oil on it let it sit for 30 min then installed it, hopefully that was a good enough amout of time for it to settle in either way it will be sitting in the parking lot at for work a while

I think he was referring to a cone filter vs. your flat filter. I re-oiled my flat one and have plenty left for several more uses.

you mean you dont just dunk the air filter in the drained motor oil during oil change?...

Hmmm - I better check my MAF sensor

i was once told spam non stick spray would work also so that way if a egg some how worked its way in there it would not stick to it

chitya! great idea

this way the dirt particles will slide right off and not clog the free flowing air! So Brilliant!
