this midpipe worth buying? slightly bent

hey guys, i was wondering if this coupe midpipe would be worth buying, it was in an accident so it was bent from the tube. i just want to know if i should consider it or just wait.

i wouldn't buy any exhaust parts that are bent. defeats the whole purpose; the crimps restrict air flow.

It looks like the crimp at the bend by the flange changed the direction of the bend. It probably doesn't even bolt up correctly.

You were going to BUY this? for how much? and I am with SD, who is selling bend exhaust parts...I just picked up an 06 coupe middy and it was 40 bucks. Keep looking

what do u mean i dont? from what i have read it give a slight deeper sound compared with what i got now.

I would never EVER buy any exhaust component that is bent. That looks horrible! I bought my 07 coupe middy for $75 shipped. And it looked brand new. Keep the search goin'!

^ ^ ^ oh yeah and he means that 05-06 sedan midpipes are much less restrictive than the 03-04 sedan midpipe. The coupe middy is still an excellent, cheap, and easy mod though in your case

OP, another alternative is to use part of your exisiting midpipe, delete the OEM reso, have a shop fabricate a mandrel bent piece and buy a new reso/pre-muffler. that's what i did. but it'll cost more than a used coupe middy.
