what is more interesting, is that a few months after I bought my car, I get rear-ended. the guy got out, and immediately expressed concerns for my son. there were some circular scratches on my bumper (and my son was fine). we exchanged info, and I would have asked for his insurance to pay for the repair. however, he called me first about 2 days later to check again and see if my son was okay. that actually meant a lot to me, and I decided not take any further action against him.

That's cool, and a clear sign of a very decent human being, not just someone trying to cover their ****. I swear if more people acted like that, we'd have far fewer lawsuits, and the world in general would be a better place. Bitterness and spite FTGDMFL.

When parking at work I learn to see which cars are just not safe to park next to - like the girl who bought a new Toyota Camry and proceeded to have more scratches, dents in it than a 5 year old car. My friends at work and I learn to give each other a heads up as to cars we should never park next to. For grocery stores (the worst because of grocery carts and, uhh, women,(flame suit on)) and other stores - look at the cars you are about to park next to.

I hate those people, but unfortunately they exist. Today, my neighbor put a dent with his back door in my back quarter panel, and of course he denies it. Even though he left his paint on my car, and my paint stayed on his door. So here I am with an ***&ole neighbor, and I need to flip the bill.

Does anyone have experience with a PDR shop? How well do they get those dings out? Here is a photo of the dent.

PDR should be able to take that out no problem. I would guess they will charge $50-$75.

I would ask around to see if anybody knows of a reputable shop. My car had some dents taken out prior to me buying it and you could still see where they were. I took it in later for another ding and they fixed some of the originals so you couldn't even tell where they had been.

Hey LuXXXz, unfortunately that is impossible if you live in a condo with a designated spot. I always park far away from other cars everywhere I can though.
