Everybody stop. I am betting that almost everybody on this site owned a Honda at one time. They are good cars and lets leave it at that. We are all car crazy people. I speak for myself and my buddies that we like all cars, american german japanese cars etc.

 

My same thoughts. The BMW of Japan is Infiniti, the Mercedes of Japan is Lexus, and the Audi of Japan is Acura. Slower and not RWD (like Audi) than the others in its class.

If i couldn't buy a G or a 3 series, i'd just screw this class all together and buy a midsize 5 series or M. I'v driven the TL and its nice, but theres just something about it that i really dont like. I see it, and all i can think about is how much i'd rather just drive my G35, even with its quirks and rattles. I like the Audi A4, but the power just isn't there compared to the others.

Never a honda in my house, but i ahve friends who swear by them and i like the S2k. Dont think there ever be a Honda in our driveway though. My mom doesn't care for them after all the years of handling claims on stolen ones. It has given her a bad taste for the company. Last fall she looked at the Camry and Altima. I recommended the Accord but she wouldn't even taken a test drive. Ended up with the Altima which has far superior quality to my G35 lol still prefer my car though.

 

Makes perfect sense Wannabe6MT. Don't get me wrong I love my G. the reason I like the previous gen TL tho is i just like the way they look and the better MPG on the freeway. i don't do any spirated driving so i could care less about FWD and less power. that's my reasons for having some regrets. Now what really irked me about my old civic was that the insurance on it was more than the G cuz they are always stolen so they are a high risk for insurance companies.

 

Audi > VW, BMW > Mini, Mercedes > Chrysler (hehe)

I DDd Honda's twice in my lifetime, and they have been solid cars. I wanted to stop getting Honda's all together because they're slow as frick and you get treated like a ricer despite your car being stock. Very annoying. Got tired of the idiots driving Hondas. I'll stay in the d-bag section with all the G/3-series drivers.

 

I retract my previous statements as well lol If i couldnt buy a G/3 series/new C class, id get an M or a 5 series lol.

I love the new C class. C350 sport with multimedia packages=such a nice car.

My Acura EL was lowered with rims. It definitely looked a little racey...however I never had the problems that you guys are talking about with people trying to race me. It simply didn't happen.

 

Nice no one bothered you, i always wanted an EL back in the days.

Na I'd say it's more along the lines of Complaining about Maxima/altima owners and then bringing up the G35 or 350Z.

Civic to NSX though is pretty much Maxima to GTR though for sure.
