Random Little Question Thread
Let me get those now.
Here's the difference between a D2S (left) and D2R (right)

I wonder if they're interchangeable, just different ratios.
Were the part numbers different on the Sedans, Coupes, or both?
Sorry. My SLR battery was dead, so you'll have to deal with crap cell-phone pics.
Not sure what you're looking for so I took a few pics, one in the socket and one out.

^Yep.
Forgot to mention that.
The reason for the little shields is a D2R is designed for a reflector, so those keep it from glaring upwards.
In a projector (D2S) the cutoff line takes care of this.
But as far as socket goes, they're interchangeable.

It didn't specify one or the other outside of "2003-2005 g35" or "2006-2007 g35"
I think there is a red light below that, that flashes when you need to shift from watching some of the videos i have seen. However I'm still unsure what the actual light is for.
lol what?
Some cars have different ratio steering boxes from one year to another or between models, yet they're interchangeable.
Subaru is a good example. The STi has 'tighter' steering because the steering box is geared differently and the car has less turns lock-to-lock. Yet, you can still swap it into an Impreza.
I don't know if that's the case with the G, but it would be easy enough to test.
If a 05 and 06 have the same number of turns, there's probably some other difference. But if a 05 and 06 have different number of turns, it's a fair bet the only difference is just the ratio.

Are the OEM springs from a sport and non-sport sedan the same? I think they are, just not sure. Wanna verify if the non-sport springs would fit on the sport shocks/struts.
Y-Pipe questions:
1) will i be able to tell, performance or sound wise when i get a hole through my y-pipe? say at the flex joint?
2) what happens, performance wise, if i chew through my y-pipe and there is a hole where the flex joint is?
