^How the heck!? I have a 2.5" projector and looked at putting it in the turn signal, and it was not even CLOSE. I don't think I could have trimmed the housing enough to get it close to fitting.

I wonder if the difference in the 03/04 blinker housing and the 05/06 is actually that much different?

Might be a bit different. I'll ask RRYDE, he knows the exact sizes of the turn signals since he's worked on both.

Is there anyway to replace the gauge cluster plastic cover without having to buy a whole cluster? Mine has a crack on it

I know Papa Chris tried that route with little success, but he may have found another option... we should hear from him soon enough.
Did somebody say my name?

I was able to grind one down enough to fit....after about an hour of grinding, I nicked it a little and just gave up because I wanted no scratches

I used a grinding stone on my dremel.

I think they are a little bigger in the 05/06s. I remember Randy telling me all he had to do was grind the small lip around the lenses. I had to dremel out more than that to make it fit.

So yeah, I gave up and did this.

Used some chrome rings out of a Maybach finishing kit (inside joke to Marcus ) and hacked up a set of projector fog lights

I still have to do the other side and get them installed. May add some demon eyes behind them as well

interesting...I have an 06 sedan and been wanting to do this for some time now. I may go this route. 2 questions though, Did you have to dremel the projector lens at all or just the housing? And what kind of glue did you use? I don't suppose super glue cause that stuff leaves residue behind, no? I appreciate any help.

^I used a hot glue gun when I did mine. That part of the light doesn't get hot enough to melt it, and it's easy to work with.

First you dremel the orange lense out of the turn signal bezel. From there you will need to grind down the projector lense until you get it to the right size to sit inside the turn signal bezel.

I have to recant my last statement.

Upon taking my headlights back out today, the hot-glue was melted, and a pain in the butt to clean up

To avoid the "springmount mod", what do you guys think of running Z Htechs in the front and unRevised Z springs in the back on Tokico Dsp9's? It's probably not a good idea to mix linear and progressive springs but it will give the appearance of a more even drop than just the htechs alone. What you think?

I measured RRYDE's turn signal template today for 05/06 Sedans and its 2.5 inches, so it must be larger than 03/04s.

We didn't grind down the projector itself but dremelled the housing a tad to make it fit in there properly.
