Random Little Question Thread
Thanks bud. I plan on being lowered also
If you don't notice any extra brake dust coming off the pads and onto your wheel relative to the other rear wheel then I wouldnt imagine any of your brake components(pads, caliper, rotor) have failed. No need for any swapping if they are evenly worn. Just start with cleaning the parts with a wire brush, degreaser, and water then apply fresh brake grease. My new pads were a bit squeaky for the first 100 miles but now I don't hear anything even during a 60 mph emergency stop!
bc i've seen it?? lol or atleast i think i have.. one way to find out. cross reference some brake pads from a 05 g35 to say a 06 350z??
05 G35: Hawk HPS Front pads PN: HB387F.547
06 350z Base: Hawk HPS Front pads PN: HB387F.547

having an issue with rubbing, but fenders have been rolled and pinched almost paper thin, rears also rolled and pinched 19x8.5 +45 with 25mm spacer 245/35/19 and 19x9.5 +40 with 15mm spacer 245/35/19...i think what is rubbing is either the front screw or back screw (middle screw and clip removed) or both...can i just take out front screw and clip? dont want my fender liner to hang and eventually get ripped off...just need to get this damn rubbing to stop
