Service Engine Soon light came on.
went to autozone.
this was the readout:
TP sensor circuit range/performance problem -
TP 1 & 2 signals do not agree
Probable cause
1. Open or short circuit condition
2. Poor electrical connection
3. Failed TP sensor
I disconnected the battery and the light is gone for now.
what could it be?
is it expensive to fix?

There is a DIY throttle reset/adaption thread somewhere. I would start with that, if the fault comes back then most likely you need a new throttle body. Parts i dont know but i assume $250 new. Takes like 4 bolts to disconnect the body from the plenum. You would need a gasket as well that should be like $1-3. Does not take long to do, very DIY. most of us on here have done the job if we did a 5/16 spacer install.

Nothing wrong with the eBay spoilers. I have one, sn00p has one, thescreensavers has one, just to name a few.
Just make sure you order it custom cut to1170mm
As for staggered wheels on an x, make sure the tire diameter is as close as possible to the same.
Here's how to calculate it:
using a 245/40R19 as an example-
245x0.40x2
devide by 25.4
add 19 (wheel size)
do that for both tire sizes you plan to run.
The results should be as close as possible (can't remember how close, but I'd aim for .2 or less)

^It's definitely possible to run staggered setup on AWD. Several members already have. You just have to get the tire sizes right.
If you post the size wheels you're considering, some of the members can suggest tire sizes that match.

Hes thinking about running either the G37 Coupe 19s or Coupe 18s, and would run similar tire sizes to what come on there stock (thinking only drop his car on Z springs as well)

Ashley, you're my go to guy. You had to dremel open the reverse lights to get rid of the lines, right? And what did you use to seal it back together? I think there's a DIY somewhere right in front of me but I can't find it.
^No dremel.
You pop the bulb open, and reach down with what ever you can and yank them out.
I used a combination of screwdrivers and various pliers.
The one thing you have to be really careful (and it's kinda tricky) is not to touch the inside of the lens. It will scratch very easily.

225/40, 255/35 is a common tire setup for Xs to run on staggered wheels. Those will go well with an 8.5/9.5, 9/10, or 9.5/10.5 setup.
