Quote: Well even with stock bulbs the headlights get hot. Higher the wattage the hotter they will be.

I use my 35watt fogs almost every time the headlights are on. And its been almost a year no problem.

Nah if its an H4 bulb then it should just be plug and play, Take out the old bulb and put the new one in. Basically there is an adapter that has 3 slots you just slide it over the bulb just like OEM and then close the cap. Your done.
But the Luminics are Halogens, so don't they run like.. 3-4x as hot?

^Yeah... IDK if it's 3-4x as hot... but Halogen does run a lot hotter than xenon

How do you know, I did not test with them outside, I installed and turned on.

If you want to buy a spare wire for no reason go ahead.

These are H4 bulbs, look at the bottom, Its exactly how the oem bulb looks like and it is standard H4 Bulb, if the bulbs you buy do not look like this on the bottom then they are not H4. Also look at the Placers, The top and the sides have to be lined up There are little tabs, which are easily seen in the picture.

Tested on a bench power supply.

No empirical testing, but the 3000k's got a lot hotter a lot quicker.

^IKR?! That, and everything is backwards.

3000deg kelvin is a lower (cooler) temperature than 6000... yet why do we call it warmer?

3k is closer to the suns color and that's why its hotter, while 6ks and higher are ice cubed colored so they are colder.

duh!

Quote: I'm a bit confused over the Airbag recall. I ended up getting it done. They replaced:

Bracket Kit
Band Hose
Clip
Clip Wiring harness
Updated BTS connector

Is the airbag light supposed to show that it's off when no one is sitting there? Or is it never supposed to be illuminated?
Yeah, I'm bumping my own question lol any ideas?

^Not bad. Could be slightly more aggressive offset, but you could always add spacers.
What color is your G?
