Are tires size 255/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear, to big for a coupe?
Rims are 19x9 and 19x10

just got my megan exhaust, but before i jump into it, i had a question....the piping on the midpipe is 3", am i going to have an issue mating this to my HR Y? will the flanges line up and everything work out smoothly?

 

I need help im kind of new to this..i have 06 sedan n have 20x8.5+35 front and 20x10+40 rear..i know my offset sucks lol but i have to stick with these rims till next year. What is a good size tire to run on these and what size spacers for a flush aggressive setup..please help thank you

i have a ?..if i get a tune with my artpipes on and then put my stock cats back on for inspection then go back to art pipes after inspection will that mess my tune up? or mess with anything else?

3m headlight polish, made my headlight worst.

I think i need a finer disc after the pizo disc.

it went from clear but major scuffs, to smooth and cloudy/hazey. Hopefully i can get someone to polish this up better in the summer with normal sandpaper and rubbing compound

3M kit did absolute wonders for mine, though they would get bad again after a couple months.

 

my bro did it, actually i didnt need it. mines were really nice and clear, just a couple of minor issues.

he did his car and it came out great!!!, he then went and attacked on of my headlights
then texts me "hey i screwed up" i came out thinking he hit my car or dinged it. Saw the headlight.

Clearly it is not as clear as it could be, comparing to my other side. Its actually now "hazy" and dull. Maybe i'll go get another kit and try again. When its went, it looks decent but once it dries it has that hazy look. I think a finer disc and better/more polishing would do wonders. Maybe that pizeo disc got dirty after his 2 headlights.

A brand new kit would probably fix it.
Though I hate to break it to you, but he probably just cost you a lot more work, because when you do the 3M kit on headlights that aren't already hazed, you destroy the UV film that's on the surface of the lens and make them much more prone to getting UV damage and becoming hazy... that's why you have to keep doing plastx or something like that after you do the 3M kit to keep it from getting bad again.

If the headlight it already hazy though, that film is long gone anyway, so you're not hurting anything.

What you may want to do is see if a paint shop can sand/buff and then clear-coat them. That's what I eventually ended up doing for mine, and they still look great after almost a year.

Had a break in the weather here in Maryland so I took a shot at installing my HR Y pipe. I had PB blasted the bolts the week before but had none left for the bolts this time. With limited room under the car, all I had use of was a deep 14mm socket and about a 7 inch ratchet- needless to say I'm very sore this morning and narrowly escaped a double hernia, lol!!

Anyway, I noticed something after I installed my HR. The gasket I used was a sedan gasket- the previous owner left me his 350z gasket but it was in pretty bad shape. There's a difference in diameter between the two gaskets with the Z gasket obviously being wider. Does anyone know the diameter of the coupe midpipe inlet tube? If it's less than the 2.5 on the HR outlet then I should be golden right? Or did I mistakenly restrict the exhaust flow?
