They are a direct swap I believe, similar years atleast, my sedan is a 05 and the coupe was an 06, fit with no issues.

Replace the oil pressure sensor, its normally a $10 part. Make sure oil is full ( stupid dipsticks are hard to read). If your full on oil, replace the sensor. If you still have the oil light, then you have a serious problem!

Oil pressure lights dont kick on unless you are really low in oil, like 1qt only in the system. But its more common that sensors fail. I just replaced one on the GF's car not to long ago, cost me about $7-8. Large 24-26mm wrench. I know for the VQ30's the sensor is right by the oil filter. Most likely same for the VQ35.

about your yellow light, LOL lucky guess on washer fluid. Just fill it up and see if that goes away. I wouldn;t know if we had a washer fluid light, i always fill it every oil change and rarely use it.
where can i get the sensor?

Good lord man check your oil! Just make sure the car has been sitting on level ground without running for at least an hour so you get an accurate reading

Small question.

On my ac controls, is it normal that I cannot turn off my air circulation button? It is always on. When I push it in.. the little light won't go off.

wow @ the only looking at the sticker thing but it doesn't surprise me at all. +80% people i know dont bother checking oil levels or even tire pressures every couple of months. They just drive the car, its more and more common now. Especially higher end cars, most owners dont care/ have time to check. They are lease cars or only 5 year cars until they sell so they dont care.

Reminds of the whole BMW maintenance free for 3 years, poor girl though it means you didn't need to bring it for for 3 years. So 40k on the ORGINAL oil and filter.

Interesting. I may have to pick one up since I can only find the ring and pinion for the 3.9.

^IIRC there's something extra you have to change to get the 3.7 to work, like maybe ABS wheel-speed sensors or something??? IDK, but if you ping G35Papa, he can probably tell you.
