nice,

I just ordered another 3m kit, I'll see if this works. If not screw it i'll live with one hazy one. I figure it cant get any more worst. Stupid 05-06 headlights running $500+ each. I just looked up headlights for my brother's maxima, $35each. Our G headlights probaly be a LOT cheaper if they let us order one w/o the ballast and etc, Just bare housing.

most of the times when i turn left there's a light that comes up in between the speedometer and the rpm gauges. it's a yellow light. what does that mean?

SLIP ?

means you took that turn a little too fast and you lost a little traction.

no it's not the SLIP light, i know what that one looks like. it's a symbol and it comes on even if i take the turn slowly. I think it probably has to do with my lower control arms, I was told that i need to replace my bushings

I dont think any bushing could trigger a light. I'll just make random guesses, because i cant remember the lights there.

Maybe we have a washer fluid light?

^The oil thing would scare the crap out of me... you sure it isn't the brake light?

I'm not sure exactly where the pickup is on the washer fluid tank, but I've never noticed mine doing it turning left, but if the level is just right it will do it when going up a hill or accelerating quickly because all the fluid sloshes to the back and it thinks it's empty lol.

haha the oil light doesnt come on everytime, only once in a while and i notice it happens when i'm getting close to my oil change
edit: no it doesnt say brake on it but it doesnt say oil either. its like a red symbol with drops leaking out of it if i'm not mistaken lol

that is the oil PRESSURE light.

Replace the oil pressure sensor, its normally a $10 part. Make sure oil is full ( stupid dipsticks are hard to read). If your full on oil, replace the sensor. If you still have the oil light, then you have a serious problem!

Oil pressure lights dont kick on unless you are really low in oil, like 1qt only in the system. But its more common that sensors fail. I just replaced one on the GF's car not to long ago, cost me about $7-8. Large 24-26mm wrench. I know for the VQ30's the sensor is right by the oil filter. Most likely same for the VQ35.

about your yellow light, LOL lucky guess on washer fluid. Just fill it up and see if that goes away. I wouldn;t know if we had a washer fluid light, i always fill it every oil change and rarely use it.

the rear ends from 6mt are vlsd and have a higher gear ratio. I went from an open 3.3 to a 3.5 vlsd taken from a totaled 6mt coupe. Great mod decision!

They are a direct swap I believe, similar years atleast, my sedan is a 05 and the coupe was an 06, fit with no issues.
