I think you'll be fine with your oem alternator and you get an upgraded battery and also doing the big 3. From what you listed, most of the new current draw will be from your mono amp. if your pushing over 2000wrms then yeah, you might be needing another alt. I'm pushing 1000 to my Type X, 35W HID's all around and a PS2 in my glove box and I'm fine. I know 55w HID's take more power than 35w'S but i cant see it being that much more. and my PS2 takes about the same amount of amperage as a laptop, idk what setup your going for with your carputer but I don't think it will be that demanding...

My carpc will take about 80w max.

55w vs 35w is 80w extra total (20w per bulb x 2 sides, x 2 per side, high/low and fogs)
But my mono amp isn't that big, I think it's like 3XX? W/RMS

With the HIDs I believe it converts the power inside the ballast so you aren't technically having to generate any extra power. It's just taking the +V in and converting it to put out 55w which would be the same V consumption as the 35w

You can't make power out of thin air. Usually, HIDs are rated by how much they draw, a 35w draws 35w and outputs as much light as a 55w halogen, even though it doesn't actually output all 35w it draws from the electrical system into the bulb. (there is always loss when you convert power like a HID ballast does)
A 55w HID still draws more power from the electrical system than a 35w.

You're fine. I have 2 12's which draw a max of 800w and I've never had the lights flicker or anything.

Hopefully. I guess I'm just used to my Trans Am that had a 160A alternator, so I never had to worry about it (plus, I could jump start a diesel )

You have a manual, you're not allowed to have an opinion

Do you have a tangible reason for saying that?

I've seen several people run other fluids in the Nissan transmission and claim to have no trouble...

A few people here have used diferent oils, and noticed that the car wasnt shifting right and have went back to matic s and the problem stoped.
