I have an 05 G.
My clock/display unit has no plastic cover and has condensation behind the clock so I need to get a new one. However, it still functioned perfectly

A couple of weeks ago, I bought one on ebay. Im not sure exactly what year G it came from but It was the exact same shape as the one in my 05 (Obviously). It definitely didn't come out of an 03.

But anyways, when I plugged in the harness and turned on the car, the dual climate would not work. And when I turned on the AC, only the 2 right vents were coming out cold. The left 2 were hot. I knew nothing was wrong with my harness because like I said earlier, my old one still works perfectly. So I figured the unit was broken and I contacted the seller and returned it.

Now about a week ago, I bought another one. This one i know came out of an 06 G. I plugged in the harness, turned on the car, same two issues occurred. No dual climate and ac only on right 2 vents. Why is this happening?

Does I have to buy one that came out of an 05?
Check to make sure your car has the same package as the one you're trying to source parts from. Some cars don't have dual zone climate control.. and that sounds like the problem you have with your car.

I need your guys opinion please!!!!

Im new here... and i really want to lower my G35x so ive took time and read through all the threads. Ive bought some Z springs from a 2007 model, and im wondering should i just install the z springs all the way around or go with the G/Z combo??

Some ppl say they cant even notice a drop with the z springs upfront is it even worth it??

IM LOSTTTTTTT!!!

I guess z springs in the rear become very bouncy so allot of ppl went with the g coupe springs in the rear, can someone confirm this please!!!!!!!!!!!

Im only planing on having these springs untill next summer then ill buy some coilovers!!!

Thank You!!

I had coupe springs rear and Z springs up front on my 04. On my car you could definitely tell a difference (maybe about an inch) of drop after the Z springs were installed. I would recommend the Z/G combo if you are going for plenty streetable, but slightly lower look. Especially since it's just temporary. It's a really easy swap to do.

The Nismo bumper has been discontinued a while ago, as has the front lip for 05+ sedans. You can find replicas of both all over the place, but it's going to be hard to find an original.

Hey guys, so i always do my research before posting and i know revised z springs have a higher rate on the rears do to being to bouncy from the 03 unrevised springs. My question is does anyone have the revised springs on there sports shocks? People say run the unrevised with the g35 sports shocks because the unrevised springs have the same rate as the g35 sports springs but a guy local is selling revised z for $40. Any guys running these what you guys think??

^ I have been running Revised Z's on my Sport Shocks since 40k, I am at 80k now and two years later still ok. Though it probably will effect its life anything near 100k is fine by me.

40 bucks is a good price if they are revised springs, make sure for the color code and enjoy! It helps body roll alot!

^ the unrevised do that, but the rear will sit lower than the front so that is why people do G/Z or Revised Z Springs

photobucket is acting up but you can find many pics of the Z spring drop here
