That's a good price for a Dealership Wheel lock set though, you can pay the same at the parts store. I think your prices might be below par compared to most dealers though.

they are from Nissan North America, but of course the wheel lock key says McGaurd

anyway, I think my actual G35driver price is like 35 or 36$

but either way, at least there are options when the key is lost that doesn't involve trashing the locks

 

Thanks for the help guys, my local infiniti told me it would cost $53. They will remove the existing lugs, put new locking ones on for a "small service fee". I need it fast so I guess I'll be going through them . Thanks

Any decent shop can do this quickly. If the rims aren't super important an air chisel works great too

On a related note, I recent snapped a lesser-than-Mcgaurd Locknut on my G37S 19"\s, BARELY tightening them yet,, lucky too because they weren't too tight I could still get it off with a chisel and hammer. But just something to keep in mind if using lockers, don't chinse out.



That's a wicked price, IMO, especially for the good locks. But yeah, Mcgaurd makes them for almost all OEM's, I know for a fact that Nissan/Infiniti is one of those, has been for some time.

so a good friend of mine gave me a good suggestion to the question i have, but i am still curious. I want to go a little lower and i was looking at 350z springs, should i get new 350z struts and shocks too, or should i just keep the stocks, since they are still in good shape after two years of being lowered on coupe s-techs. i know that most will say just get coils but i'm not gonna be able to do so.

 

I would get the shocks as well if theyre asking a reasonable price...for what its worth I just paid 150 for revised springs/shocks with 28k miles

 

well i was going to buy new 350z s-techs and some tokico hp blues(also for the z) but if buying just the springs would be low enough i would just buy them but i thought i read somewhere that the struts and shocks would help it go lower too.

 

getting just struts will lower your car just a bit, but if you are going with lowering springs, you might as well change the struts out as well as the stock ones won't perform well nor will they last anyways.

i'm guessing i'd have to get someone to fabricate a custom bracket to fit the car as i would need new rotors anyways. but im trying to see if the EXTREMELY good price on the calipers will offset the cost needed to put em on my car. i would probably powdercoat the calipers if i do end up buying them as well because red doesnt go with LS very well. Color match caliper to body paint?? haha i think i would. But thank you for the feedback regarding fitment.

That would work. Do you currently have any color-schemes already running with your exterior, interior, suspension or engine mods? If yes, color-matching to those would also work (assuming that your current mods aren't garish or clashing )
