Take out those two torx screws (don't lose them) ; and pull the MAF module out. Is the hole circular or rectangular?
Just looking at the pic, I'd guess circular, but you should pull it just to be sure

 

Im really getting it for the looks in the engine bay. I found a fujita for an 03. Just have to make sure it will be compatible with the MAF that I have.

 

IMO, if you just want looks, invest in a chrome z-tube instead. This way you won't be losing useable power.

Just had a few things fixed on my car today. The dealership does a multi point inspection as well. On the paper work under brake condition it shows 3mms front 6mm rear. What does it this mean exactly?

 

I've decided to go with those wheels after all the searching. The question is I'm on a stock sport suspension. What offsets and tire size to use? And before you say it, I searched, but didnt get a conclusive answer.

 

At 2mm you change the pads so you need to replace it soon. Depending on how many miles you have you should also change your rotors.

330 all around for rotors and pads+ install

 

Unless you're going for stance and want a lot of poke, Varrstoens in general are not sedan friendly. If you want stance/poke then they're fine though. What offsets/tire sizes depends on what you want. In terms of stance, ride quality etc

As screensaver said, 2mm is pretty much toast so you're getting close.

2mm is the "spec" during a safety inspeciton, 2mm or less and they must be replaced to pass safety. in actual fact, if htey're wearing evenly you can drive for a really long time with 2mm left before you HAVE to replace the pads.

I wouldn't go under 1mm though.

ALSO just want to note, most shops don't actually measure this, they just look at it and guess. Chances are you have mroe than 3mm there.

 

I guess this was the only down side of buying the car. Only had it 3 weeks but if it could pass inspection I doubt they would replace them under the 60 day 3000 mile warranty. I also notice vibration in the wheel when braking at higher speeds so I'm sure I'll need rotors too. Didn't notice this until a few days ago.
