I've never heard of that happening to anybody....mine weren't sealed and i haven't had any problems....with the angle of the fenders the water shouldn't get trapped up anyways....some people get their fenders "pinched" which basically means their is no possibility of any space between the two peices of fender

The Spedo also isn't accurate so I am not sure how you are measuring your %

To me you are only 2.2% off
Using mile markers and timed how long it took at 60mph

^ Yep thats not accurate at all lol. Use a tire calculator to calculate the difference. I did that for you from the OEM sport tires.

reasonable price?

Rev-up air box, z tube, k&n drop in filter. $195+10 shipping.

Now I know I won't see any big gains but will I notice a difference? Will the intake sound different?

thats not a very good price either, you could easly piece these parts together and save some money, unless your inpatient like me and just buy the kit.

Just get a couple of cars to drive with you on the highway, one of which can set the pace at different speeds, then compare. A GPS will be fairly accurate as well.

Yeah, that's not a very good price, I got my z tube and revup box for $150 shipped. K&N can be found for $25-30.

Quick question for you guys. I have an 04 g35 sedan and I recently noticed a slight knock sound at idle. Weird thing is you can only hear it from the inside of the car. And once you're moving, you won't hear it. You won't hear it outside the car or even if you open the hood. It's more "loud" at the passenger side. I took a video using my phone just for you guys to have an idea. All I did before this was change the stock intake to ztube and about the same time I had an oil change. (I check the oil once in a while and everything is good there as well). I'll
Also add that sometimes when at cold start it won't have that knock sound as well

Thoughts?

Its more than likely your fuel damper.

Look it up. Pretty common problem.

Are you serious? Tire Calculator is all he needs, it will be mathematically correct, it will not include human error and best of yet he can do it from his computer.

Also our gauge clusters are not accurate, for instance mine is 2-3 mph off.
