Just get revised 350z oem springs they'll give you the drop you're looking for. New struts aren't required

How much lower would the 350z springs make it do you think?
And what years would fit?

As usual, pardon my ignorance and stupidity. What's this for? Pros/cons?

It's supposed to direct air to your radiator which technically can help a lot when you need as much cooling as you can possibly get. But since you aren't ever stressing your cooling parts that much to really need it, it really just looks good. This could be a must have if you have a race prepped car, but since the intake will still get air through between the hood and grill, it can be beneficial as the only cons to this mod is that the money might be better spent elsewhere.

So its totally blocking off the pressurized air that being forced from the radiater area from the bumper to the intake?

^Pretty much. Its mainly to cover up that gap in between the grill and the composite piece. It will also help conceal an intercooler.

Thats an odd mod if a person is running the OEM intake I doubt much air is getting to it from under the hood. The intake must be very deprived of air this way

I can see it helping in redirecting air flow towards a cai air filter tho. Since the foam piece on the driver side of the bumper is removed during installation.

$300 seems to be market value for used 05/06 tails. If you dont want to pay that tough. If they are asking more than that, a better deal will come around.
