Picked up a used set of Tein hood dampers recently but I want to paint them black before I put them on. Is there anything I should be particularly careful about?

ie. type of paint, painters tape or electrical tape? Or just bad idea altogether?

Also has anyone ever had experience with the question I posted few pages back? One of the filaments on my front turn signal works 75% of the time. What gives? I'll be installing new HID bulbs next week so I wanted to get some input on faulty wiring etc. that you guys may have dealt with in the past so I know what to look for.

 

Probably not. I know the tow hook covers are a different shape (wider on the coupe?) so I would suspect that the mounts are also different.

 

As a general rule, if your question is formatted thus:

'Will a ___________ body part from a coupe fit on a sedan?'

the answer is no.

 

So my next question would be does anyone make a carbon fiber mirror or mirror cover for the sedan?

I need the rear shocks replaced for my 07 G35X. I would like advice on what shocks to buy and where I should get them from. I have a guy in subdivision who will install it for me.

Sweet ride. I love it, and always liked the coupe lights better. It appears that the coupes and sedans have the same mounting for the side view mirrors, but looks can be decieving.

 

Did you have to weld in a new core support to work or what?

You posted in the V35 03-06 section. You drive a V36, it would be best if you post in that section that way you get a better more informative response from people who actually drive the same model G as you.

 

Hows it going guys. I just got my G a few months ago and have a few plans for it. But, of course I want to make sure if its even possible to begin with haha.

So I'd like to swap out my 18in rays for some coupe 19in rays. However, I also plan on adding the G37 BBK on my G35 in the future. Will these rims clear those brakes? Also, would they clear the 18in rays if I decided to stay with those?

Got a random question as well. What sizer spacers would I throw on after I drop it on some coil-overs. And will those sizes be different dependent on the size rays I use? (18, or 19)

19" OEM rays will clear (they clear almost all aftermarket BBKs for our cars). I don't think the OEM 7-spoke 18s will clear, but will let someone else chime in.

 

What size spacers would be ideal on an 18x8 43mm

 

another 18x8 dually style would be ideal
