I continuously checked my oil for a while until I was able to calculate how much oil I need to add in between oil changed. Figured out my car burns a quart of oil every 3K miles.

This way I dont have to keep checking the dipstick. I just pour in a quart every 3K miles.

^This is a silly routine. You're allowing your vehicle to continuously run a quart low, then topping it back up. Just top it up slightly every week, or even once a month and keep your engine full man!

Or install an oil pan spacer which adds 3/4 quart of crankcase capacity. It's like $100 and well worth it on these motors.

Wouldnt that make the oil pan sit lower? My car is already pretty low and bottoms out on some bigger bumps. I wouldnt wanna risk damaging my oil pan.

it would add about an inch imo just from looking at the spacer online. Im also pretty low (and a sedan) so I'd be weary to install as well. our oem front sway bar may still be lower when the spacer is added though.

maybe someone with it installed can provide more info tho
