why do I find myself wanting a A4?

I find myself lookin at 07-08 A4 2.0t's lately.. but I fall short in comparing the 2. I love my G35x a lot but at 128k miles I have lil doubts... I won't consider the 07-up G's cuz they don't appeal to me at all... whats wrong with me?? talk me out of it guys... (i know 280hp to 200hp) but not much of a huge difference around town...

I've seen current A4's too, and they look nice. Never driven one. Main advantage to me is that, after 7 1/2 years in a G, it would be something new and different.

Other times, I want something bigger. But the M is too pricey.

Audi's all got black circles (worst rating) by consumer reports for reliability. Serious reliability issues. Don't buy one unless it's new and you have a long warranty.

I love my X but if I would ever be persuaded to get a different car it would be an A4. I love the look of the car. A friend of mine had one and my only reservation of ever getting a Audi is his car always had something going wrong with it (maybe he got a lemon??). I have always loved the look and ride if my G so I don't think I will be getting a Audi anytime soon!

My dad has an '05 A4 2.0T Quattro - I know it's not the new body style but this just goes to reliability. It's a nice car with some neat features, but he's had some wacky stuff go wrong with it. It's not really up there on miles either (under 60K I'm sure) and currently the glovebox door hinge is broken (extremely common apparently), he's already had the AIR pump replaced (WTF - big bucks at the dealer) and some other things that should not have failed this early. I'm just not sure they're super reliable.

Audi is highly over rated man. I just traded mine in for a Jeep. I am so happy I did too! Let me put it this way. I went to the dealership to buy turn signals and paid nearly $30 for them. Yup THIRTY DOLLARS for two bulbs! The guy was a complete snob too when I was buying them! So if you want an Audi get one, but be prepaired to pay out the nose to maintain it! So far on my Jeep I have only had to replace the air filter with a K&N one and put gas in it. NOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW an A4 has less space inside than our G series.

I totally forgot about that! My kids look so cramped in the back of my dad's car, but they have a ton of room in the back of the G.

My kids were tired of sharing their space with a Boxer! She would climb over them to get to the windows. It was funny for awhile but really got old fast. I also have to add that our G series are so much faster.

my parents leased a Q7, awesome car but it had some issues. Issues aside we now have an rx350 and that car does not fill the Q7 shoes.

I drove a couple 07-08 A4s before I picked up my new 08 sedan.

It was a fun, zippy type of car, but it certainly didn't have that, throw you into the seat type of feel that the Gs give you...

My 05 would have smoked that car.... and my 08 would decimate it.

I'll be sticking with Infiniti. Reliable car and just doesn't have those issues.
