Coupe midpipe

I'm always looking for one for sale, and can't find one in my area, or even region (east coast, Washington, DC area). Is there anywhere they sell a replica that I can just buy brand new or an affordable oem one?

what u should do is a resonator delete.. take your car to the muffler shop and have them remove the resonator and make it a straight pipe. shouldnt cost u much. oh, make sure the thing is stainless steel, just ask them.

Go to local meets and network, meet people, pay attention to any coupe guys that mention getting an exhaust and then make them an offer on their mid-pipe.
That's how I got mine.

I've heard the resonator delete causes alot of drone, and the only difference in the coupe and sedan midpipe is the resonator isnt it?

Yes, the resonator on the coupe is smaller than the sedans.

If you compare it to an 05-06 midpipe, the difference is about 10 haha

The 03-04s are just plain boat anchors.

And yet the 03/04 sedans are lightest of all
Go figure!

Stainless steel eh? I tried the resonator delete for a few days, and it sounded great under light load, but it rasped bad when I got on it.

I think I'll just do the 350z midpipe then, I always find plenty of those.
