Thanks Andrei.

Socialconflicts, he said he would charge something like $700-$800 plus the cost of piping. It was a lot harder than we thought. We must have put in 6 full days working on it for like 10 hours. That's why it took so long.

The bends, flanges, gaskets, tips, muffler, piping, etc. costed me probably around $350-400 alone.

not worth doing again. only thing that would be worth anything would be to have jigs made so these parts could be mass produced. Not worth paying for a custom exhaust. Unless you make your own stuff. I made all the hot parts for my own car but i would not want to make custom manifolds for this car. Seems like bolting up a turbo kit would be hard enough.

Ah yeah, lol. Turbo always sounds better. This exhaust should be good for turbo unless they're pushing an insane amount of boost.

I would say the easiest and cheapest way to make something similar would be to buy one of the HKS G35 coupe knockoffs on Ebay for $280. It will bolt right up until the last part of the exhaust, and that can then be modified to fit the sedan.

I have no idea how they sell something like that so cheap... Materials alone for me was more than $280 easily. But an exhaust using the HKS knockoff will sound similar, but not quite as deep and you may lose 1-2hp because it's 2.5" all the way through instead of 2.5" to 3".

yea thats a good idea on the hks clone...then you can re-route the canisters on the side as well kinda like so...would probably have to have the tips straightened as well

Yup, you would have to adjust the tips. Also, I'm not sure if there would be room to keep the helmholtz resonators on the end of the exhaust without relocating/removing the evap. And of course you still would need to buy the x-pipe to weld in. But the 2 hardest parts will be eliminated: making the ypipe and the bends that go over/under the rear sway bar.
