I love how traffic is harped on as the main con with the 6MT. I make a lot of trips down 85 straight through atl. An hour of traffic is not a big deal.

Personally I prefer not having to hold the brakes every 5 seconds.

I refer to holding the brakes in an auto similar to someone holding something you lose by getting an auto.
If you know what I'm saying.

I'll agree it is considerate to consider your wife's inability to play with a stick. I really don't have any experience with the problem, my girl will not drive an auto.

I agree that traffic isnt that big of a deal. I used to have a 5spd altima in south florida and was in traffic everyday for 45 minutes in college so im fine with it. Ill have to teach her how to drive it (burnt clutch). and if she doesnt get it or practice enough ill have to consider it for emergencies. Anyway. again i appreciate it.

I don't regret getting an X at all. Not with the rain and snow we usually get in OH. But if I were to do it again from a modding stand point I'd get a manual g35. I still wouldn't really want a auto/rwd one though. The only reason I would get a manual one is fun to drive factor obviously and lowering has way more options/easier and I don't even DD my g35 after owning it 3months from buying as 33mpg beater.lol

I bought my car 3 months before the first AWD versions of the G35 were sold back in 2003. I wish at times that I had just waited. We have a few days almost every year where we get some snow/ice where it would have helped.

I live too far south to consider snow tires.
