What kind of tire are you looking at getting? I am assuming an all season?
I have the continental dws's on my sedan and have absolutely no complaints. Tires have about 15k miles on them and are sitting at 8-9/32nds. I would recommend that if that's something you might be looking at...

Also, if you don't know how to mount rubbers (read as 'don't have proper mount and balance machines'), then don't attempt it. You will need to take them to a local tire shop and have them mount/balance them for you. That will probably run you around $60-$75.

I would definitely read lots of reviews on tirerack.com. I just put Bridgestone RE970AS tires on my sedan and love them -- they handle very well in the dry and are a fantastic rain tire. They're also less expensive than the Michelin Pilots Sports, compare pricing on Tirerack. If you buy the tires at a local shop, they will mount and balance them for you, if you order online you can have them sent to a local recommended shop for that service. Hope this helps.

I am personally running Achille front and Lexani in the back on my 19'' rays. I bought them BRAND NEW off www.onlinetires.com. A whole set shipped to Kansas for $397. Yes, four tires for $397! Don't have to pay shipping if you are local.
The cheapest tire I found online or in town was $200+ each. I'm fully satisfied with their shipping and product.
I hope this helps!

I have been running the Sumitomo HTR Z-III and I'm very happy with them. Good price, great grip, and a fairly comfortable ride. I've got about 15000 miles on mine and they are just coming due for replacment. Not super sticky in the rain but very driveable. Snow is not an option however, although thats pretty true for this car regardless of tire choice.

I've been running the Conti DWS for the last 6 months and am very pleased with them on my factory 17's. If you have no need for snow traction, then look for the Conti DW Summer Performance tire. When I get my 19's I'll be picking up a set for sure!
There's usually a Tire Rack rep floating around the forum somewhere- I think his name is Neil? Might have to go into the Tech area to find him, though.
