Re: A Few New Mods *Pics*

In terms of the DIY, I never got a chance to post the pictures and "how to" because I never developed the film in my camera since I now use digital. I do not have the part number for the boot, but you can get it at Nissan/Infiniti for cheap. I thought it would be more, but I paid like $20-30CAD taxes in. I think that is the cheapest OEM part you can ever come across. Just ask the tech to show you the center console and point to the boot section that you want. It'll even come with the surrounding silver console. Once you have the part (2-3weeks), you look at your own console and find a thread in the forum where it tells you how to pull up on the console releasing 2 clips. They should be about the shifting area. All you have to do it take the org **** off, press the parking brake, shift into neutral, and pull up on the console and should pop right off. Disconnect all the wires harnesses for the heated seats, light bulbs and whatever and take the console off. You can then probably see the underside of the console much better. Take off the circle shift plate. I used a wire coat hanger as my ring. Yeah, its ghetto, but it works. The boot should have holes all along the bottom of the bag. Thread string thru the holes and tighten it around your custom circle coat hanger. Use elastic bands to hold the coat hanger down and re-do the steps to put everything back to normal. My process sounds cheap and all, but at least it looks good from the outside. Hope this helps a bit. I'll try to get the film developed for pictures, but no promises.
