How To Wire in AUTO FOLD feature for your JDM Folding Mirrors
You will need to run 2 wires through the JDM motor, and use your USDM mirror (the physical mirror) because it has the heater element on it.
The wiring is there on the 'car side' already for the heated mirror, but it won't be inside the JDM mirrors.
If you don't want to take the mirrors apart (makes it a much bigger job) then you will lose heated mirrors.

hi,
thanks for your guide.
just wonder, why i got spark/wire burning when connect +12v to pin #85.
did i do any mistake?
my wiring as per below; (following guide from you)
RELAY #1 (FOLD OUT)
85 - Trigger from TIMER FOLD OUT relay [BCM Term 23 (Unlock)] = +12V?
86 - Ground = Body ground/Batt +?
30 - Out to Motor (Fold Out Wire) = wired to motor +
87 - Positive power from BCM = constant +12V from Batt
87a - Ground = Body ground/Batt - ?
RELAY #2 (FOLD IN)
85 - Trigger from TIMER FOLD IN relay [BCM Term 30 (Lock)] = +12V?
86 - Ground = Body ground/Batt -?
30 - Out to Motor (Fold In Wire) = wired to motor -
87 - Positive power from BCM = constant +12V from Batt
87a - Ground = Body ground/Batt - ?
* this is for other JDM car.
Thanks in advance.

USDM mirrors are power adjustable, not power folding. There is no motor in them. You will need the JDM folding mirrors for the internal folding motor. No motor = no auto fold
M37
Hi all, I was thinking of doing this for my M37 with built-in power folding mirrors and came across this post which was awesome.
My concern was that the mirrors would fold when I lock the car? Is this not the case? Are the unlock/lock wires from the BCM only for the key transponder, but not internal locking/unlocking?
Thanks again!

The 1st 2 links in Supplies needed no longer work anymore. Tuner Max, are you in the Facebook group chat called V35 Sedan Drivers?
