Yup. Under all that salt and mud is crappy Nissan black paint. I actually had to take a wet cloth to the headlights to be able to see a bit better at night
Part of it's my fault. I see it snowing outside and want to go slide around.

I'm gonna swing it through the car wash as soon as i know no snow/rain forecast so i can enjoy a somewhat clean car for more than a few hours.
You should see the engine bay

That is the one thing I like about ND vs MN. They use sand and not salt. Doesn't get nearly as corroded or turn white so quickly. That is also what is nice about it staying colder as well is the stuff doesn't melt and make a mess.. lol. Hard to believe that is from only a couple of days. Crazy stuff. I am ready for winter to be over as well. I want a clean car for longer than a couple days and I want my summer tires back on...

Here's what I'm dealing with. This is the parking lot at work. All the white stuff on the asphault is salt. It's basically a fine powder at this point. There's so much that panic braking on a dry surface causes the ABS to engage as it's easy to slip.
Only way to get rid of this is some good spring rainstorms!
At this point, washing my car is really more for protection, than it is for looking good.
