06 g35 brakes on 03 need help!!

So I bought 06 brake calipers rotors and pads to put on my 03 sedan got fed up of the soft brakes
So my friends a mechanic and we changed the old ones out put the new ones in everything went well brakes feel great but but everytime I drive hard and use the brakes it keeps smoking I told my friend he said I should put in some ss brake lines
Would that solve the problem??

Your brake lines are swelling? Check your reservoir and see if you lose fluid when under heavy braking.

I checked fluid seems fine my buddy (mechanic) said the caliper is not releasing fast enough
I'm debating on ss brake lines or oem because I'm in the north (canada) and I drive my g all year round
Any feed back on ss brake lines in winter would be helpful

Did you lube everything? Did you do a brake bed-in after you installed them?

Lines won't make a difference. You need to find out why they aren't releasing if that's the case. When I swapped mine, it was good to go

Where they used calipers? If so the seals need to be changed. The piston seals deform when the brakes are applied and snap back when released. the seal pulls the brake piston back. Not a hard job. I've had to do this on my old motorcycles when the calipers froze.
