Ya the Jetta is 140' 60-0 and the G35 Sedan is 122' 60-0... So if you only had a inch to spare you would of totaled your Jetta.... Good thing you were in your G35

"the G35 Sedan is 122' 60-0"

In the back of Motor Trend in the tables it shows the 03 sedan at 0-60, 111 feet.

In the comments it says "some of the best brakes we've ever seen".

You beat it to me, Jason

Glad you're safe. The G will stop on a dime. The G's 60-0 braking distance is the shortest in its category, being only 3 feet longer than that of the Z06 vette. Not too shabby. Next time you wish you were in that Jetta, thank God you weren't.

I got the numbers off the net for a 05' G35 sedan...
Maybe the 05's don't stop as good as the 03'.... Wouldn't doubt it since everyone made such a stink about break wear, Infiniti probably went with different types of brake pads, so now they don't stop as fast... Glad I got a 03

For every person that complains about excessive brake wear, there is another (like me) who is glad it stops so well (saved my life!). I vowed as soon as I avoided an accident due to my strong brakes, I would never complain about brake wear.
