The security light is on the dash to the left of the instrument cluster, an LED embedded in the dash to let you know the status of NATS. A solid red light means NATS has interlocked the ability to start the vehicle.
Did you unplug the throttle bodies at any time during your troubleshooting?

The cam sensor can prevent the engine from STARTING but the engine will still CRANK. What exact problem are you having right now, what exact steps are you doing. Need as many details as possible.
