Auto to manual swap handbrake question?

So far ive been sourcing through the forums and YouTube and the biggest question i still have is how do you or go about converting the parking brake to a handbrake. Is there spot welds on the console to help guide you bolting it in or do you have to cut the console. Also what about hooking it up to the handbrake do you buy new or used parking cables or can you reuse the foot cables by shortening it?

There's threads on it but you will find them under the 5AT to 6MT transmission swap stuff since you also swap to the handbrake when doing the 6MT swap.

Last time I was under my car tearing the tranny out I took a few pics of the routing of the cables in the transmission tunnel since there weren't any other pics that folks had posted, I'll dig around through my photos and post them in this thread.

Alrighty I don't know how to stitch these pics together to make one long pic so here they are in order from the front of the vehicle to the rear. This is with the transmission and driveshaft/propeller shaft removed. Should give you a VERY good idea where everything is attached and where it goes through the tunnel.
