THE HUNT for 2005 g35x sedan Fuel Pump Assembly

Hello all, first post here. My desperation is coming to an all time high as I’ve been without my G for about a month now because I am an idiot who snapped the fuel line connector nozzle. I am looking for a fuel pump assembly for a 2005 g35x sedan. every seller I have come across only have the coupe pumps. I’ve scoured the web for the right part but have had no luck. My last chance is to maybe be pointed in the right direction through the forum. God bless whoever can help a brotha out

As far as I'm aware the only difference between "coupe" and "sedan" from a purely mechanical standpoint is the coupe included the basket strainer and level float whereas the sedan did not.

Same fuel fittings, same wiring harness, same pump, same depth, same flange.

EDIT: They do look different inside the tank, the coupe one is more skeletonized and you can see the springs whereas the sedan is fully enclosed. Doesn't affect operation though.

when I compare my pump to the ones I’ve seen online and the one I had ordered, it is missing the spot to plug in the Venturi hose. What is to be done about that?

Ahh yeah you're right those venturi fittings are different.

You could probably go to a pick-n-pull salvage yard and take one off a coupe or 350z, pull the pump, reach down inside and disconnect the other end of the venturi tube, then swap it over to your car.

I can't remember for sure but the sedan the venturi tube went into some other assembly of stuff before it actually connected to the pump. The fitting on the black hose might actually be the same since the rest of the venturi on the coupe/350Z pump is all integral to the pump. It was separate on the sedan pump so that hose MIGHT actually be the same.

It needs to connect onto a plastic stem that has an o-ring on it. If the sedan has that same connection it should work. It's probably different though...
