Not even close..hehehe....got to run one of my own today...this guy in a B6 A4 1.8T flys by me to i go to pursuit...we catch a red light so im expecting him to launch it..i figure he would since im sure he had to notice me catch up to him and pull beside him when i saw that the lane was clear. But no he takes off slow and so do i...then i punch it..i get like 5-6 cars ahead of him and wait for him i now see that he punches it also, so i wait til he gets to my rear door then i punch it. It wasnt even close. ive seen him at a few of the meets but never spoke with him before.

 

Good kill dude. Next time you see him, ask him about his mods. See what his engine is putting out.

How close would it be if he had a larger turbo (ko4?) plus the chip? My old B5 Passat with Wett chip would get killed by my G35 but I always wondered how close it would be with a turbo upgrade.

 

Ive been in a K04 A4 before and the g35 still feels stronger down low, the quattro drivetrain just saps so much power. At highway speeds my A4 feels a bit stronger than the G35, my A4 is FWD and not the quattro and that makes a bit diff. i will prob be doing a K04 soon in my car so we'll see. isnt the Wett chip a .8 bar chip? its one of the more conservative chips out there, at least for the A4 it is.

I am glad to see another Audi owner with a G as well, I have 03 A4Q 6MT and I just got the wife a G35S Auto loaded that was still cheaper than the A4:-). The Wife and I have had a few runs and off the line I get a decent jump but she then hands me my *** from then on. It is a blast to have both cars as each have their own advantages and disadvantages.

 

Yeah the Wett chip was .8 bar. It was a nice problem free chip.In hindsight I probably would have gone with the APR chip. I actually would have bought an 03 A4,but at the time no one had a chip available and the people I talked to said it was tough to reprogram. I am happy with my G35 though.,

 

they are both great cars...i just wish the G had a trip comp like the A4..the instrument cluster in the G wasnt what i expected, i expected more in a 30k car, it seems it belongs in a lower line car.

cmon bro look at my sig i own both. Id like to see a 1.8 run 14's with just a chip out here in CA, u find anyone to do that with me there in person to witness it i give them $100 cash. Cant argue with a person who owns BOTH cars now. And what are u doing here? U were selling ur S werent u?

oops u miss read my post as i did urs..i didnt get 5-6 cars on him..I punched got 5-6 cars ahead to egg him on and then that was when he started to play.
