bumper to bumper Warranty
I'm about to be a proud owner of a 2003 G35 sedan! It has 53000km ( 32934.2 miles).
Now the dealership is trying to sell me a bumper to bumper warranty for the next 5 years. It would cost me 43$ a month. i.e. 2580$. Did you guys get warranties like this when you where getting your car? What is worth it?

The manuafacturers warranty is amazing to begin with. It is 4 years 60k miles. Ask them the inservice date, chances are, you still have 1 - 2 years left on the warranty and another 30k. Means you wouldn't have to buy that extended warranty for another year.

Extended warranty is pretty much what you feel comfortable with.
One thing to check out is the cars service record.
If it's got a clean bill of health up to now, chances are you will have few problems
One thing to keep in mind is that they are a large profit center for the auto industry.
Also;
be sure to check out the CANADA section in the REGIONAL FORUM.

Just checked for me in MN. 4 years from the date you purchase the warranty or 100,000 miles on the odometer which ever comes first, no deductable, True BUMPER TO BUMPER. This warranty covers absolutely everything.... starting to sound like a sales man.... it comes to $1740, and to add an extra year it is only and extra $45.

I can help you get an "INFINITI FACTORY" extended warranty....at DEALER COST....(for real) if you're interested. I have done so for a few guys here on the site and they will back up what I'm saying. Tried to PM you, but you weren't set up to do so. This warranty is NOT some "after market" crap so contact me if it's of interest. JBX
