Tein H-tech for 350z will give u a 1.3" drop. 350z springs will give you a 1" drop. I heard good things about the H-techs. Will you post a pic of your car with coupe rims? Interested to see how that looks.

You double posted this in the tire/wheels/suspension section of the board, I replied to that post.

When i did the suspension on my 04 sedan I was advised that Htexhs did not have a very good front to rear balance. I went with 04 350Z springs and the car rocks ! Lowered 1" in front and 1/2" in back but is readily apparent that the car is lowered.

AND... I have a spare set for sale !!! PM or email me for info if you're interested.

alfapower

which springs did you get for your sedan? I've heard things like D-spec 350z springs....? WTF.

If the 350Z springs are a good setup, then I'm all for that. Keep the springs in the family. =)

I've been thinking of similar setup for my sedan, too.

However, I would like to try OEM Z springs w/ coupe struts and OEM coupe springs w/ coupe shocks.

I think this setup will give me 1inch drop in front and 0.5 inch drop in rear.

(I happend to have both OEM Z and coupe springs and OEM Z shocks/struts)

What do you think the end results of this setup?

I just installed an 05 350Z suspension this weekend. It dropped the front 1" and the back 1/2". Of course, it could settle some. I really like the ride and the improved handling.

Ricmalaz,

Did you get the standard 350Z springs, or their sport-tuned springs? Did you have the standard springs on your sedan or the sport-tuned springs?

So how do you like the overall change in ride, feel, comfort, performance?

Thanks for any feedback. Great thread.

I got the suspension from a 2005 350z Enthusiast model. I thought the suspensions were the same on the various 350z models - maybe Gsedan35 knows if there are any differences...

I really like this suspension! My old suspension was the sport version. The ride is definitely more firm and sporty but not so much that it is uncomfortable. As far as feel goes, there is a little more road feedback. It is not bouncy though. The biggest improvements are significantly less body lean in the turns, much less nose dive on hard breaking, and noticeably less nose rise and fall under hard acceleration. I have a 6MT,and when I accelerate hard and shift I used to notice a bit of nose up and down motion.

BTW - if anyone wants to buy my old suspension, PM me.

In every production year of 350Z, the suspension setting's are all 100% the same. Concerning the 04 oem 350Z suspension revision, early 04 Z's did NOT get the revised suspension, they are sporting the same shocks and springs unrevised 03 Z's had. 04 Z's built AFTER 10/31/03 should have the revised suspension. ALL production 04 350Z roadsteer's do have the revision from Job One.

I have this dillema on hand and asking for any feedback on this.

I have the followowing parts available for my non-sport 2003 G35 sedan:

2 x Z front springs (2003)
2 x Z rear springs

2 x Coupe front springs
2 x Coupe rear springs

2 x Coupe front struts
2 x Coupe rear shocks

How would you mix them up to gain the best performance and look?

I am thinking of having combination of Z front spring paired with Coupe front struts, Coupe rear springs paired with Coupe rear shocks, to give me both the good look and performance.

What do you think?

BTW, is there any adverse effect of putting Z front springs over Coupe front struts in terms of performance loss and reliability problems?

I look forward to your feedback
