Strange sound when braking.....

When I am braking and making a turn at the same time, I hear a "creeking" sound coming from the front wheel areas. I notice it when I am slowing down to make a 90 degree turn into a driveway or parking lot. It only happens while braking. If I take the same turn without barking, I don't hear it.

Anyone experience this or know what I am talking about? I thought maybe the VDC was kicking in, but I don't see why it would at such a low speed.

It's your Brakes/Rotors. Get them checked out I am sure this is the problem. I've had the same thing happen to me.

If it was the brakes/rotors, then why would it happen only when turning and braking together?

I do not know the exact answer why. However, it happened to me and so I replaced the brakes and rotors at the same time.
First, when it started doing the squeak when braking and turning I thought it was the brakes. However, it didn't do that when I came to a complete stop without turning the wheels. So that baffled me a bit. I had it checked out and they said it probably was the wheel bearings. Nope they said it was fine.
Time passes by and now there is a new dilemma. The steering wheel was violently shaking when you apply the brakes. Obviously they have become warped and it couldn't be shaved any more. So I went out and bought high performance Cross-Dimpled rotors and it came with a brake pad deal.
After that, the turning + braking ordeal went away as well. I guess you can call it the ol' two birds with one stone theory.

Birdhouse,

You were right! I just got my G back from the dealership and they had to replace the front brakes and rotors. I haven't had a chance to see if the problem still occurs, but I think they took care of it.
