05 6mt sedan here in San Antonio area, with Stillen cat back system. If you are near me I'll take you for a ride... when my car gets out of the shop. The sound is just perfect, not overly loud or ricey. Smooth, deep tone that definately gets attention -- it aint stock!

I am at Vegas and would have loved to hear your cars sound but ur bit far.

Do you recommend stillen cat back exhaust and is it not very loud but perfect when stepping on the gas, thats what i want

Do you get extra hp and torque as a result of the exhaust, has your mileage improved

Thanks

i have the stillen rear section combined with a coupe mid-pipe, pretty damn close to the way the coupe sounds imo.

Never came across any sound-clips. New Stillen on 05 6MT Sdn sounds better than stock 05 Cpe. Very M3esq. Fits like a glove, sounds and performs like factory performance- tuned and not after-market. Gen2 rocks - not loud at all.

I've been in JBX's G. He has the stillen dual exhaust for the X. It sounds like a coupe exhaust its deeper and throaty as hell. It sounds like its got some serious *****. I have the same setup as RyansG35. Must say it sounds like a coupe except a deeper tone.

If your going to go with just the rear section, you should be able to do the install yourself, its a bolt so no mod is needed to get it to fit.

If your going with a cat back setup, I dont see why you wouldnt be able to ask for the old parts.
