BMW 645 cabrio say what?

I currently have my car in the shop because at low speeds it looses air pressure so it shuts off. I have a 200 mile old 06 g35 sedan as a rental. My friend's mom's car is a 05 BMW 645ci cabrio, were right next to the commons, i think he said he is pushing 2k miles already on the car, and off the line up to third gear we were head to head. very surprised! once i hit third gear, he pulled plus we had to make a left turn. i had traction off and launched off at 17k had a little chrip and griped. i really though the 6 series would have more than that. by the way ran three times same story

ok, 17k equals 17,000 rpms.....maybe you mean 1.7k, which would be 1700 rpms, but that would be a low launch speed if you are racing with a 6 speed. But I doubt they would even give you a 6 speed as a loaner car, so then I would assume you powerbraked the manual to 1700 rpms.

Second, a 645 with a good driver will hit mid 13s in the quarter, the heavier convertable will still hit mid-high 13's. But, since the driver of the 645 probably sucks at driving, he/she wont run a 13 on the street, and thus probably ran a mid 14 just like your G loaner would.

The 645 will not run mid 13's. The 6-speed variant runs high 13's in the quarter. Add the weight of the convertible, and the slower automatic transmission and you have yourself a low to mid 14 second car.
