Picked up my coupe today - Sentimental and Happy at same time
Yeah, I switched. I picked up a athens blue coupe today and traded in my 03' sedan. It was tough, but I went through with it. The bad part is I had the whole weekend to think about it, because the deal got done on Fri, and I did not pick it up till the next Tuesday. They had to ship my car from SoCal to Washington State. My mods on my sedan where just beginning to take shape, I bought a front aero bumper and that car looked so much better. The thing I like about the coupe is I really don't need any exterior mods, just concentrate on horsepower/torque gains....
I'm in Washington on business for a few weeks and past this huge Infiniti dealership and bang, they had the color I wanted with all the bells and whistles for a reasonable price. Funny thing is my intention was on getting a 06' sedan. I ended up getting a brand new 05' coupe. I knew I had to get out of my current car soon, because it was at 75,000 miles.
Judging from the street and on each forum (coupe/sedan), sedan guys tend to be older and more mature. Coupe guys seem to be younger, and they post out of the ordinary things.
I'm sentimental for my sedan, but when I picked up my coupe today and drove it I remembered why I switched. That throaty sound and the looks.

wtf is wrong with 75,000 miles? Any1 else think that is a lot for a G Sedan?
I was hoping to have mine to 100,000 or so? is that unrealistic?

Just my guess, he probably thought value would start dropping dramatcially after 75k. I'm sure there is some cut off that value guides use for high mileage. I don't care about that sort of thing since I drive my vehicles for a very long time.
There should be no regrets trading in for a coupe unless you miss the extra space. It's still a G35 with the same drivetrain.

Answer to your questions
I'm sorry guys, its a 05' Lakeshore Slate fully loaded, nav and all...
I could sell you my aero bumper, its desert platinum.
I believe the dealer purchased it for a little for more than it was worth to make the deal go through. $18k I think.
Ditto
Exactly, as much as I love my car, it will be that much harder getting out of it if I put on much more miles.
Code:
what color is your sedan? sell me your bumper

How much did you get for the G35 Sedan out of curiosity?
