I'm referring to G35 sedans not incl. ones with factory or non factory aero/bodykits ?

How about window roll-up via remote ? Does anyone know of a fix ? besides using the key in dr. door ?


Yesterday we picked up a 03' Sedan for my girl, Garnet Fire, w/ premium & sport packages.

within next month: alarm upgrades, staggered 20's, tint, Rockford amp & sub

 

All G35 sedans do come with black bottoms. Stupid in my opinion, but to each their own. Infiniti likes to think otherwise.

Well, it still comes with the black bottom.. but it's covered up by body-colored eye-candy pieces.

I personally would like to have the self colored pieces but in my opinion they just arent worth $2500. Look at most cars arounf Volvo S80, VW passat they all come with the black bottom.

yeah i was shocked when my bro noticed my black bottom on my 04 sedan. i didnt even realized the whole time and started to panic and thought only mine was like that since i didnt get all the options but then i start seaching online and realize all sedans come in black on bottom. that really looks funky tp me but maybe infiniti was being cheap and was trying to save money on less paint.

 

Window rollup is easy with an aftermarket keyless entry. I did mine myself. You just need an aftermarket piece with two aux. outputs, and you need to run three small wires into the driver's front door. Any good install shop can handle it.

 

I dont think its cheap, its just the way cars are made to decrease price for the consumer. As i said even volvo, VW have the black bottom. Would you want to pay 2.5g's for the those 4 pieces that cover it. Not me.. insteas get a navigation package , will increase your comfort level~

 

Get them sprayed like mine. It adds so much to the car and changes the look completely.

Rumble, can you give me some details on how to go about getting them painted? Like price, how to remove them, etc..

i was wondering where you get $2.5 grand for the painted 4 pieces from? i dont think it could be that much now. even $10 grand cars have them painted so i dont really see the logic there. but i agree that the car will look much better if they were painted. but i dont know if i want to spent another $500 to get it painted.

 

The $2500 is not for painting the existing black pieces. It's for the Aerodynamic Body Kit.. a ground effects kit with flared body colored sides, a body-colored rear piece, and a different front bumper.

And yes, IMO, it's over-priced.
