The seats in my sedan right now are pretty much flat, and the 06 coupe seats look similar to 350z's with great lateral support to hold you in place.
Just seeing if anyone has tried to put Coupe Seats in the Sedan, figured that would be the best fit vs using 350z seats. Plus the harnesses should plug right in.

Have not tried it, but my 06 x seats fit me like a glove. When I drive other veh's (like my wife's Murano) I feel like I'm sitting in a Lazy-boy.
I'm a bit of a wide body. If the coupe seats fit tighter than the G, I'd be in trouble.

which sedan do you have? I have an 03 and I hate the seats.
I had an 06 sedan for a loaner, and those seats were 101x better!
But if seat covers alone cost over a G-note, I'de rather pay off a good portion of my loan rather than buy a new seat.... or two

There was one member that had done this in the past. The seats seemed to go in without issue, there was some wiring that had to be re-done possibly. You will loose the memory function, and the seats sit a few inches lower.
I will search and see if I can find the thread, it was a long time ago. EDIT: Here is the link: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06/35349-coupe-seat-installed.html
I agree, I hate the 04 seats, compared to the 350Z I previously had, this is my only big complaint. I was checking out a member's 06 (Jameyb) and the seats looked much better.

Thanks for the help, Ill definatly check out the 06 sedan seats, if they did make them better then that would probably be the easiest way to go. The car I have right now is the 2003.5 sedan, and the seats have almost no bolsters on the side, not to mention because of this the metal plate for the seat controls rides into your upper thigh
I luv the seats in my 350z roadster, holds you nice and snug in the corners, with my G35 im pushed up against the door or leaning against my passenger (depending on which way i turn) when taking corners fast

Seat controls will still dig into your thigh.

I've had a few 05 loaners and I found those seats to be less supportive than my 03's seats plus the leather felt much cheaper. I'd love to have some Coupe seats in my sedan though.
