Detail at Infiniti dealers?

Ok i already started a thread in the care/car section but i hardly ever visit that section before. So this section might get more response.

My car is really dirty and full of hairline scratches. And im having difficulties finding a good detailing place. Should i take the G to the holman infiniti service for detail? Someone said never take it to the dealer. do you guys agree?

The price at my dealer is 165 for a full detail service. SHould i go to them?
And i can't selfdo it.

If you live in SOCAL, I can recommend a great place you can take your car to get detailed, took it there twice so far. Costs me 110.00 each time.

Well, depending on what kind of wax they're using...when it rains the wax is going to wear out and then those pesky cracks will be back sure enough. I say spend that $110 on some Zaino Z5, Z2, Z6, and ZFX and a nice weekend with beer in hand and you'll be happier than gettin it at the dealer. Zaino wax actually lasts a couple of months if you get three or so coats on. I'm goin to Zaino my car this weekend and then wheel wax as well.

But if your goin to get it professionally detailed, $110 doesn't sound too bad.

$110 is a good a deal. The Zaino idea is a good one but it won't remove the swirls/scratches you have. I think your best bet is to find a local detailing outfit, check out some of their work and have them do wash, clay, polish, wax/seal. Assuming one polish step = 3 hours or some, should be $150-$200.

110.00 = Interior cleaning which includes, carpet shampoo, leather cleaning, conditioning. Exterior includes, wash, wax, buff, polish....I trust them because my friend took his cars there for years. And I took it there twice myself. They do an awesome job. And its not a dealer. Tho they do detail cars when they get them from the dealers. Its located in Glendale CA if anyone lives near there. They take their time in making sure that the car, especially black ones are well cleaned.

110.00 is my price. I think its regularly 130-150+ but you can ask them to give you a better deal.

Hope this helps for SOCAL ppl. I'll post the Name and number, I have their business card at home. I'm at work right now.

I had them do an exterior detail at my local Infiniti dealer. They charged $99.

There is a local place but you have to bring your car there and they are not open on Saturdays. The dealer was a lot more convenient for me.
