I finally found a use for that wierd hole under the power outlet on the passenger side. What do you think? Has anyone else found a use for this?

 

That is not a weird hole. It was designed that way for the Japanese right hand Skyline drivers to place their pack of cigarettes.

Yup. There are a couple of quirks that explain themselves if you realize that the car was designed first for right-hand drive, such as the card holder above the passenger visor, the main radio controls on the far side of the console, etc. And, of course, the cigarette pack pocket.

 

yup cigs fit perfectly in there... even on the JDM civics below the air vent theres a cig pack holder

Thanks.....and I thought I was the only one that didn't know what they were for... I use that little area to put my air freshner for my car.

 

Red for laser jammer, middle for radar detector and top is ready for my next mod. I had room for 3 switches so I figured I might as well put them all in together.
