Oh boy. I went from a 1993 Saturn Ion SW2 wagon. It was tan and hideous, but the damn thing lasted me over 6 years! I got rid of it with about +150K miles on it. Transmission was getting bad. Was reliable as hell though.

We traded in our 2004 JCW CooperS with 85XXX km's for a 2008 G35X Sedan. Can't be happier with the extra space we got. But the "fun" driving is gone since the mini was like a fast go kart.

I still have my whooptie but I'd say a major upgrade! I have a 01' Mits. Galant 1 hubcap, different color gas tank, ceiling is falling down, hood is starting to peel, and the suspension is ready to fall out the front end anyday now! LOL123k miles but I am not bringing my baby (08' G35x) to the train station or into manhattan for work.

my vehicle progression is quite interesting. went from a used 98' toyota celica to a 2006 (brand new at the time) BMW330i to a used 2004 G35 coupe then to a brand new 2009 Acura RL.
basically alternating from used to new to used to new, now i'm considering a used G37/GTR as my next year since i'm due for a change
