Has anyone found a way to turn on the automatic lock/unlock function without visiting the dealer? I'm speaking of the function that automatically locks the doors when the transmission is put in Drive, or a certain speed is reached. Thanks Tiger, our car will not do that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thank goodness. I think I would get rid of it if it did that :mad: .

It appears it might be a feature that is not enabled by default. Dealer would need to enable with their Consult III. For those interested in function it be worth inquiring about. I'm on the fence myself.

I managed to download some pdfs of the supposed Service Manual. I was wondering if this would be in the Interiors, Instrument Panel, A/V, etc. section. Maybe what you are looking at is different. I just know that the serv. dept. people will think I'm an idiot. I know that if I can't prove it on the spot that they won't see if they can do the auto lock thing. Also, did you ever check with your dealship to see if this could actually be done?
