I thought the AT was limited to 153? I haven't taken mine that far - 130mph is the farthest I've pushed it. It takes a LONG time to get to 150. You'd need at least a couple miles of straightaway - after you've hit 100.

A would assume Technosquare or AAM will have a flash for it soon.

do me/us all a favor and test your car and tell me how fast it goes first. I am really curious...I've had it up beyond 130 but at the point had already outran the dire threats chasing me which forced me to break the law. I too, would like to know how fast it can go if need be.

If anyone does take their G to the top speed on a public road and posts it here, I will delete it immediately. You might want to post it somewhere else.

The 3.0-liter AJ-V6 produces 235bhp at 6,800 rpm and a muscular 216 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,100rpm. That gives standstill-to-60mph acceleration in 7.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 121mph. 2007 S Type.

So, just look for these cars to race and you'll be fine.

But hoestly, when you have to do 155 (if need by!? ), you must be trying to run from a cop for drugs or homicide

I have had my car to the speed limiter a number of times and there is no need to go that fast. I like going from 0-80 or so, as fast as I can and leaving it at that.

the people that complain that the car lacks speed are usually the same ones complaining about the gas mileage

I agree top speed runs are dangerous when other drivers are around, but for people who are unlucky to live out in farmland, desert, and on the plains it is exciting to do it when no one's look'n.

And if some type of farm animal (or any other animal) decides to cross the road while you're doing 150 mph, what are you going to do then? IMO, there is NO safe place to drive those types of speeds except on the track.

Ha, I would say that was an extremely isoloated incident. I would take my chances at the track ANY day since it is more of a controlled environment.
