kinda upset about top speed

just done some research and was suprised at the top speed (07 G35s auto)...I thought for sure it would be limited to around 155...didnt figure it would be lower than the last generation?...Im not a tech guy but is there an easy way to defeat this....I dont plan on going all out but would like to be able if need be....thanks

I found a pretty good aftermarket product that might deliver the results you're mentioning...

Man I know what you mean . This car sucks, I wouldn't have bought it myself if I had of known it wouldn't do 155mph. Heck when you are passing a line of traffic, it's nice if this thing would get up there. It sure would have been nice. My slug will only do about 135mph .

J/K.. is the OP serious, I love my ride, why would you ever need that speed ???????

didnt mean to sound like a speed freak or start a debate....as silly as it seems 135 is not crazy fast...(newer model SUVs / Jeep Grand Cherokees with Hemis will do that with the right tires)...dont get me wrong Im not complaining about the car its the best car for the price - case closed...
I remember as a youngster I had an Oldmobile with a QUAD 4 engine (POS)...my friend had a Buick Grand National...his car was fast 1/4 mile but was limited to 125....my Olds would do just a little more..it would drive him mad and folks would laugh when my POS olds would catch and pass the mighty GN....
the "need be" would be when a Jeep passed me and I couldnt catch up(laughing)
I love the car just thought Id ask about defeating it...thanks

Anything over 80 or so is academic unless you race on a track. All I care about is how quickly I can get to freeway speed, not how many multiples of the speed limit I can do.

Are you saying it's governed to do less than 155? I'd agree I won't be driving 155 anyway (ever, and neither should you ) but that would surprise me if it will do much less than 150.

I can't drive (1)55!
