Talking Short gears on the new 07s?

I had the car for couple of days.. and i noticed the car revs high on the freeway.. i think it was about 3000rpm @70mph..
no need to rev that high with a potent 3.5L... the auto needs a 6th gear..
think about the gas savings!!

another note.. man.. this car has power on every RPM..
but i didn't like it that it "jumped" to easily from standstill..
it was hard to get a smooth start~~

but overall, nice car.. but didn't see anything dramatic for me to trade in my 03.5~

Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to getting into first smoothly. I love my car, but I wish it was just a bit smoother.

Tip ... the accelerator is bottom hinged. Applying pressure higher up on the pedal will smooth out the "jack rabbit" starts. You'll soon get used to driving with your heel closer to the hinge.

When the car get's used to you as well, it starts to settle down abit.

My car had the on/off feel to it as well but it's much easier to start gently now (which saves aLOT of gas )

Whether I got used to the car or it got used to me, either or, it does get tame later on.

I also happen to think that the new style and interior is gobs better than the previous gen, which is pretty much what sold me on the car, I ordered one after mulling it over for 2 months.

In short, I think it kicks *** all over the '03.5.
