Best way to combat it is to make sure you wax your car to avoid chips, and when you get a paint chip, try to get it fixed ASAP. You can wax over a chip potentially too to cover it and protect it from the elements.

Exactly Cheryl! I have owned a lot of cars, and no matter what the badge, if you get a chip down to the metal, it's gonna get rust. Originally Posted by trey's wife
